Isoil is an Italian company specializing in the manufacture of magnetic flow meters . Isoil has more than sixty years of experience in flow measurement. The magnetic flow meter is suitable for all electrically conductive substances such as water, water-based substances and chemicals. The measurement method is based on electromagnetic induction. In a magnetic flow meter, the electromagnets in the meter generate a magnetic field between them. When an electrically conductive substance flows through a magnetic field, a voltage is generated. This voltage is measured with electrodes on both sides of the meter. The larger the volume of the flow, the higher the voltage.
