The Sanyo Denk PB Series Servomotor combines the best features of a stepper motor and a servomotor.

Shorter Position Settling Time

• The design of the PB series motor is based on a 50-pole stepper motor with a substantially shorter positioning time than the servomotor. The PB servomotor delivers maximum torque at low speeds.

High resolution, accurate positioning!

• Pulse sensor pulse numbers selectable from 200 pulses / revolution up to 12,800 pulses.

Small construction size!

• The stepper motor gives full torque in the 0-speed range. This allows for high torque and fast acceleration at low speeds using only a 42 W PB servomotor. Using an AC servomotor would require 300 W. The PB not only saves space, but also money!

Low warming, good efficiency!

• Unlike a normal stepper motor, which draws a constant current all the time, the current of a SANMOTION PB series motor depends on the torque to be loaded. Therefore, the warming is less, the service life of the motor bearings is extended and the energy loss is lower.
